Terms and privacy notice

What FirmChecks does. FirmChecks shows facts from public records (GST registration and filing data, website and domain records, and news) to help you decide whether to do business with a company. It is not a credit rating, it does not guarantee payment, and it is not affiliated with GSTN, MCA or the Government of India. Always use your own judgement for large decisions.

Your account. We store your email, your company's email domain, your plan and how many checks you have used, to run your account and billing. If you buy a plan we also store the company name and GST number you give us for the invoice. We send you service emails (sign-in codes, plan updates). We may follow up once about paid plans; you can ask us to stop at any time.

Your checks are private. We keep a record of the companies you check so you can see your history and so we can stop misuse. We never tell a company who checked it, never show "checked N times" counts, and never sell or share your search history.

Visiting cards. We read only the company name, GST number, website and city from a card photo. We do not keep the photo or the person's name and phone number.

Fair use. Check only businesses you plan to deal with. No bulk lookups of individuals, and no automated scraping.

Corrections and deletion. If a company believes something shown is wrong, or you want your account deleted, write to basant@firmchecks.com. We reply within 3 working days.
